VSU flag has been raised once more as two #ProudViscans joined the club of the Viscan board topnotchers for this school year.
Jane D. Entuna and Sherwin E. Quiño made it to the top 10 cut in the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), wherein Entuna landed 8th in the secondary level and Quiño placed 10th in the elementary level.

This announcement covers all campuses of the VSU system from its flagship campus in Baybay City to the four component campuses in Alangalang, Isabel, Tolosa and Villaba.

You read it right! Cash incentive for topnotchers in VSU has been raised three times as much as more #ProudViscans are performing very well in the recent licensure examinations.
The VSU Board of Regents approved this new policy that entitles all new topnotchers of the university system with higher cash incentives that also comes with a proposal-based funding grant for the department where the topnotcher belongs.

After strengthening and renewing its ties and signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 20, 2022, at a virtual event, a soil scientist and agronomist from the University of Jember (UNEJ) in Indonesia finally visited Visayas State University (VSU) for their research collaborations specifically in soil science studies.
