VSU makes history for having first #ProudViscans among the 35 declared winners of the 41st National Book Awards for 2023!

Before the holiday break, the Visayas State University received yet another recognition from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which is a fitting Christmas present for the #ProudViscan community.

To address the knowledge gap on hazard and injury vulnerabilities due to disasters, senior nursing students of VSU hosted a two-day disaster risk management awareness and first aid and safety training initiative for the Viscan community.

After a long pause because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute of Human Kinetics (IHK) brought back one of their most anticipated initiatives geared towards providing services and fun-filled learning activities for children with special needs.

One family will have the chance of improving their home this Christmas season as civil engineering students of the Visayas State University pooled in some funds to buy basic construction materials that sought to help a chosen beneficiary in Baybay City.

As part of the massive internationalization program of the university, the International Affairs Office (IAO) conducted an integration and cultural exposure program for new foreign students to orient them about Filipino culture including academic guidelines and other institutional policies followed by the university.
