VSU is making a big move to help young Filipinos turn their ideas into real businesses in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors.

Brian G. Añano, a fourth-year BS Meteorology student in VSU has once again proven his excellence in meteorological research and secured the Best Oral Presentation award at the Philippine Meteorological Society (PMS) Convention 2025 held on March 17-18, 2025. 

VSU Tolosa continues to establish itself as one of the top criminology schools in Eastern Visayas, exceeding the national passing rate in the February 2025 Criminologists Licensure Examination.

VSU is set to host the International Agri-Life and Bioresource Sciences Symposium jointly organized with Hiroshima University, Japan, on March 16-19, 2025.

VSU has further strengthened its international collaborations by formalizing its partnership with the Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (KCCC), an organization dedicated to cross-cultural leadership and discipleship development. 

VSU remains the only higher education institution in Eastern Visayas to receive consistent endorsement from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) for its Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget to promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusivity within the university.
