#GoingGlobal: VSU formalizes long-standing partnership with Korea Campus Crusade for Christ

VSU has further strengthened its international collaborations by formalizing its partnership with the Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (KCCC), an organization dedicated to cross-cultural leadership and discipleship development. 

The partnership, facilitated through VSU Cru Student Leaders in Campuses, one of the university’s religious student organizations, was officially sealed on March 14, 2025 by VSU President Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes and KCCC Missionary Pastor Duksu “Benjamin” Park. 

For the past 11 years, KCCC has been actively engaging with VSU through its annual cross-cultural exposure program. The organization has facilitated activities that allow students to enhance their leadership and public speaking abilities while promoting meaningful cultural exchanges. 

The program has also provided a platform for VSU students to interact with international participants to strengthen their global perspectives and understanding of diverse traditions. 

This year, from February 1 to 14, KCCC once again conducted its program in VSU as part of its tradition of offering immersive experiences that go beyond the classroom. 

The program has become an avenue for students to refine their communication skills, engage in values-driven discussions, and learn from individuals with different cultural backgrounds. 

At the same time, it has allowed the visiting delegation from KCCC to experience Filipino hospitality firsthand to further enrich their understanding of local customs and traditions. 

With this milestone, VSU continues to position itself as an institution that embraces diverse perspectives and promotes holistic student development. 

Through this partnership, students will gain not just leadership skills but also lifelong connections that will help them engage in global conversations.
