The VSU Department of Development Communication (DevCom) with the University Integrated Media Center (UIMC) joined forces with Music for the Environment and Nation Development (MEND), Inc. for the inaugural SUGAT: Eco-Festival in Limasawa in Southern Leyte.

Under the Novice Category, our #ProudViscans from the VSU Debate Society (DebSoc) emerged as the grand champion in the 15th Eastern Visayas Debate Championship - Asian Parliamentary.

For the first time, VSU recorded four topnotchers in the recent results of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and placed 7th (92.64%) in the top performing schools for secondary level in the country.

With an improved overall score this year, the Visayas State University kept hold of its 1001-1500 spot in the University Impact Rankings 2024 spearheaded by a British think tank called Times Higher Education (THE). 

The Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP) Inc., an organization of philosophy professors and researchers in the country is looking for paper submissions for the PAP 2024 Annual Conference which will be held at Visayas State University on July 18 to 20, 2024.
