Good morning, everyone. First of all, allow me to give my utmost thanks to our former University President, Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin, for entrusting me with this very important task as Caretaker of our beloved Visayas State University. 

Good evening everyone, especially to our friends and partners from the local government including our hardworking officials of the Visayas State University.

Benjamin ‘Kokoy’ T. Romualdez is a former Governor of the Province of Leyte, who also served as Ambassador of the Philippines to the United States of America, China, and even Saudi Arabia.

Even with occasional panic attacks, this #ProudViscan is a testament that one can overcome and manage intense anxiety while also excelling academically.

In an email correspondence sent by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Visayas State University (VSU) maintains its overall 3-stars rating with a one-star improvement in the key criterion of internationalization. 

Dr. Moises Neil V. Seriño, Dean of the College of Management and Economics, and Mr. Dhenber Lusanta of the Ecological Farm and Resources Management Institute (Eco-FARMI) took part in the Special Lecture Series on Climate Resilient Agriculture in Bangkok, Thailand as invited resource speakers and collaborating experts.
