Microsoft 365 licenses and several pieces of equipment for the Smart Campus are the newest information technology (IT) investments of Visayas State University as it continues to push for technology-enabled learning for #ProudViscans.

A two-storey Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) is operating at the Visayas State University to provide quality health care and medical services to our pets and farm animals.

To send more #ProudViscans to study in the United States, the Visayas State University forged a partnership with the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) also known as the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, which is considered the oldest running foreign scholarship program in the country.

Newly minted Dr. Mark Gil Ardiente Vega, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Teacher Education (DTE), bagged the outstanding dissertation award, which is the highest recognition given to doctoral degree graduates of the Philippine Normal University (PNU). 

Associate Professor Dr. Agus Hermawan, Certified Forensic Auditor Dr. Eka Ananta Sidharta, and Head of Quality Assurance Mr. Ahmad Fawaiq Suwanan from Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia visited Visayas State University as speakers of an event organized by the College of Management and Economics (CME).

Not only do our #ProudViscans excel in the field of the academe and industry, but one of them is also a dynamic and progressive leader who is steering the development of Mandaue City—a highly urbanized and the richest city outside of Metro Manila according to 2019 data released by the Commission on Audit (COA) in January 2021.

After the launching of the newly-established Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at the Visayas State University in November 2022, the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) through the Eramus+ Higher Education Mobility Agreement sent one of its faculty to one of the oldest and largest universities in South East Europe for a learning visit to its veterinary health care facilities and services.
