Academic Convocation Address

Anchored on the theme, Libraries take action: Providing access and opportunities for all, the Visayas State University Library concluded the 83rd National Book Week 2017 at the New VSU Library, November 17.

Hundreds of candles were lit to commemorate the victims of super typhoon Haiyan, locally known as Yolanda, in a candle lighting activity at the VSU Gazebo, November 8.

VSU President Edgardo E. Tulin posed a challenge to VSU to ‘dare to excel’, in the State of the University Address (SUA) during the 2017 Academic Convocation held at the VSU Gymnatorium on November 13, Monday.

The Visayas State University (VSU) will kick-off its 2nd Environmental Week with the theme: #RoadtoSustainability: Youth and Nature in Harmony. The week-long campaign activity is centered on the awareness and appreciation of the environment among youth which will run from November 6 to 12, 2017.
