Eight of VSU’s undergraduate curricular programs will be evaluated for Level III Phase I accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), October 17-22.

Some 270 athletes, coaches, and officials from VSU are currently at the Naval State University (NSU) in Biliran, Leyte to join the 32nd Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (SCUAA) Games which kicked off, Sunday, October 23.

The Tokyo University of Agriculture (TUA) relinquished the key of responsibility in the Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) to VSU, October 14, during AAACU’s 21st Biennial Conference and General Assembly in Japan.

Given the feedback on eight of VSU’s academic programs, VSU President Dr. Edgardo Tulin said he is positive that the university will pass the evaluation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP).

VSU Alumna, now a farmer and social entrepreneur Cherrie Atilano has been nominated by the news media organization Rappler for the 2016 Move Awards to be held on November 11.

The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) recognized VSU’s support in the implementation of a livelihoods program funded by these international non-government organizations (INGOs).
