VSU grads place 4th, 9th in 2017 geodetic engineering exam

Engineers James Philip N. Ancheta (87.00%) and Gerald B. Mandia (85.80%) landed 4th and 9th places, respectively, in the October 2017 Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination.
VSU registered a passing percentage of 85.71% above the national average of 49.60%.
This year, 17 out of 20 first-time examinees and a repeater from VSU successfully passed the exam, simultaneously held in Manila, Cebu, and Tuguegarao testing centers, October 25-26.
Leading this year’s topnotchers is Engr. Jonel G. Vernante of Caraga State University in Butuan, registering an average of 89.00%. Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines Diliman was named as the top performing school with a 97.56% average.
