3 VSU grads top October 2018 geodetic engineering board

Engineers Abel Niño M. Ulson (88.60%), Mark Jacinto M. Ramos (86.60%), and Christian Dave L. Labrador (86%) landed second, sixth, and eighth places, respectively, in the October 2018 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination.
This year, 14 out of 15 first-time examinees and repeaters from VSU successfully passed the exam, simultaneously held in Manila and Cebu testing centers in October 2018.
Leading this year’s topnotchers is Engineer Kristian R. Monay of University of the Philippines Diliman with a passing rate of 90%. On top of that, UPD also ranked as top performing school with 100% passing.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, only 451 examinees out of 848 passed this year’s licensure exam (53.25%). Meanwhile, VSU registered a passing percentage of 93.33%.
