VSU grad lands 6th in licensure exam for teachers

A VSU Tolosa campus graduate joined the top ten passers of the September 2016 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) disclosed, November 28.
Antonio V. Lumpas Jr., landed 6th place after garnering a rating score of 87%. With him at the same rank are graduates from Samar College, Philippine Normal University-North Luzon, Aurora State College of Agriculture, University of the Immaculate Concepcion-Davao, and Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo City.
VSU got an overall passing percentage of 37.03% with graduates from the VSU main campus earning the highest rating at 50.78%.
Some 23,378 out of 77,466 takers passed the LET for elementary education, while 31,334 out of 92,754 secondary teachers finished successfully, the PRC website said.
The LET for elementary and secondary levels was conducted on September 25. More information about LET results can be found at the PRC website www.prcboard.com.
