95th VSU Founding Anniversary Message

VSU will host the State Universities and Colleges - Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines (SUC-ACAP) annual convention on May 22 to 24, 2019.

Gravela O. Rele, a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) turned farmer-businesswoman is VSU’s UGMAD Outstanding Farmer Entrepreneur awardee for 2019. The award is the highest recognition given by Visayas State University (VSU) to a farmer during the annual Farmers’ and Fisherfolks’ Day celebration.

VSU subjected its Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program to a second cycle survey visit for Level IV re-accreditation, on May 6 to May 9, 2019. This level is the highest level of program accreditation of the Accrediting Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

The annual art exhibit formally opened on April 22, 2019 at the Balay Alumni in celebration of VSU’s 95th founding anniversary, following the formal opening of the Flower and Garden Show.

The annual Flower and Garden Show (FGS) formally signaled the opening of the week-long celebration of VSU’s 95th founding anniversary, as it was formally opened on April 22, Monday.
