About the Program
The BSAB program is based on competency standards of agribusiness. It focuses on creating and going into business in agriculture. It is systems-oriented emphasizing in the interactions of all activities and factors affecting the manufacture and distribution of farm supplies, production activities on the farm, and the storage, processing, and distribution of farm commodities and items made from them, locally and globally within the context of the country’s biophysical, socio-cultural, political, economic environment and development needs.
Program highlights
- The BSAB program has general education subjects, fundamental subjects in Agriculture and major subjects in Management
- The program requires the students to produce and market various agriculture-related products, prepare business plans, feasibility study, and other Agribusiness researches, and lastly involve in the extension activities in the community
- The program offers the learners the choice either to conduct a thesis or a field study as a final requirement to earn the degree
