VSU is 32nd most popular university in PH

Visayas State University secures the 32nd spot in uniRank’s 2021 Top Public Universities in the Philippines.

There were 232 Philippine higher education institutions (HEIs) that met their selection criteria and were ranked.

The results provide an approximate global ranking of universities and colleges based on their web presence and popularity in terms of estimated traffic, trust, authority, and quality link popularity.

In order to be included in their ranking system, universities had to be: chartered, licensed, or accredited by the appropriate Philippine higher education-related organization; offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees or postgraduate degrees; and delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, and non-distance education format.

The ranking aims to “present a non-academic League Table of the top Philippine Universities”, its website says.

They base this on valid, unbiased, and non-influenceable web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the universities themselves.

There are five web metrics extracted from four different web intelligence sources, which include Moz Domain Authority, Alexa Global Rank, SimilarWeb Global Rank, Majestic Referring Domains, and Majestic Trust Flow.
