Associate Professor Dr. Janet Alexis A. De los Santos is now back-to-back hailed as the 2023 Best Mentor in Health Research in the Undergraduate Students Category in the National and Visayas Cluster.

A third-year meteorology student bagged the Best Oral Presentation award from the Philippine Meteorological Society (PMS) after presenting their case study on understanding the rainfall events caused by the shear line in Eastern Samar, Philippines during the PMS Convention 2024.

Our very own student organization, the Viscan YouthMappers (VYM) received its second international awards from the 2024 Chapter Awards given by the renowned YouthMappers network and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) GeoCenter.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) awarded VSU for the 3rd time as Top 1 Performing State University after obtaining a total of 20 degree programs from undergraduate and graduate levels with Level IV accreditation status.

The Instruction and Evaluation Office (IEO) announced that VSU has renewed its subscription to Turnitin and is now embedded with AI detector capabilities.
