#ProudViscans from the Department of Geodetic Engineering (DGE) brought two national awards after successfully competing in quiz show and map making contest in a national summit.

Assistant Professor and Head of Alumni and Community Relations Office, Corazon A. Padilla, represented Visayas and served as one of the invited panelists in the Alumni Talks on the launching of the American English Alumni Association of the Philippines, Inc. (AEAAP) or AE Alumni PH.

To improve the university’s localized warning system that will help save people's lives, properties, and agricultural commodities, the Department of Meteorology (DMet) together with the VSU Agrometeorological Station (AgroMet), and the University Integrated Media Center (UIMC) have joined forces in providing daily updates on weather-related information and important bulletins.
