VSU President Dr. Edgardo Tulin and his family, friends, and colleagues gathered May 15, for the blessing of the newly-renovated presidential cottage.
Rev. Fr. Brian C. Flandez of the local Holy Spirit Parish and Msgr. Oscar Cadayona of the Diocese of Maasin led the house blessing prior to the housewarming party. The celebration also coincided with the feast day of the Holy Spirit Parish of VSU.
Dr. Tulin said the presidential cottage will serve as a venue for the president to receive university guests, and will soon host breakfasts with VSU alumni.
The presidential cottage has four bed rooms, a kitchen, living room and a visitor’s receiving area. The presidential cottage is located beside the Agricultural Training Institute and in front of the Sunflower Ladies Dormitory.
