VSU dean of students is national VP for student services association

VSU dean of students, Prof. Manolo B. Loreto, Jr., took oath as national vice president of the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. (PAPSAS).
Prof. Loreto will sit as the VP for PAPSAS until the academic year 2019 - 2020. As VP, he is expected to implement programs and activities, as well as extend assistance relevant to their respective profession as service practitioners.
Prior to his election to the national PAPSAS, he was elected the President of the PAPSAS Region VIII Chapter for SY 2018-2019 and took his oath before the CHED Region VIII Director, Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal.
Before his elective posts, Prof. Loreto went through the rigorous program for a Certified Student Affairs and Services Specialist (CSASS) conducted by the University of Sto. Tomas Graduate School’s Center for Continuing Professional Education & Development (CCPED) and the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS) by virtue of CHED CPE Grant under CHED CMO No. 72, s. 2017.
As a Certified Student Affairs and Services Specialist, Prof. Loreto was awarded 15 units PRC CPD Council of Professional Teachers Provider Accreditation No. PTR2009-004, and Program Accreditation No. PTR2009-004-1592 after he fulfilled all the requirements for the certificate.
