Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Administrator Glenn B. Santos urged VSU to have a global outlook, during the 92nd Anniversary Convocation, at the VSU Gymnasium, August 10.
In his speech as guest speaker, Santos said that institutions in the country should not stop at nation building.
“The doors of the Philippines are now open,” said Santos in Filipino in reference to international cooperation initiatives such as the ASEAN Economic Cooperation. Today’s byword is “global”, Santos said.
The multi-awarded administrator also announced that he wishes to reinforce VSU and PCA’s partnership in the mass production and delivery of coconut seedlings, pest biocontrol, and provision of scholarships to deserving students. A long enduring partnership, Santos said, is what he wants for PCA and VSU.
