About the Program
In line with CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 42 series of 2017 specifying the minimum policies, standards, and guidelines (PSG) for the BSS program, the Department of Statistics of the Visayas State University (VSU) adopted the prescribed new curriculum to be fully compliant with this CMO. It was approved by the Board of Regents through BOR Resolution No. 61, s. 2018.
The BS in Statistics program is a four-year degree with a total of 149 academic units in its curriculum which includes Statistics courses, Mathematics courses, Computer Science courses, electives, and General Education courses.
