BS Geodetic Engineering graduate of VSU bags 10th place in licensure exam; new chemists, veterinarians, foresters, nurses, and agriculturists named

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently released the results of the September 2012 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Exam, the September 2012 Chemist Licensure Exam, the August 2012 Veterinarian Licensure Exam, the August 2012 Forester Licensure Exam, the July 2012 Agriculturist Licensure Exam, and the June 2012 Nursing Licensure Exam.
In the licensure exam for geodetic engineer held on September 4-5, Jefferson T. Cello landed in the 10th place. Since VSU produced graduates in BS Geodetic Engineering, every year some of its graduates were among the topnotchers and even got the first place. In this year's Board Exam, VSU got an institutional passing percentage of 80 percent (8 out of 10). From a total of 351 examinees nationwide, only 123 (35.04%) passed the said exam. The new Geodetic Engineers are: Lymariz Alvero, Jefferson T. Cello, Karla Gencianos, Arwin M. Gofredo, Mary Jean G. Libres, Martin Jan E. Mercurio, Antonio E. Naboya Jr., and Karen A. Verona.
In the chemist licensure examination conducted on September 18-19, 292 out of 642 examinees all over the country passed the exam. VSU got five passers and they are: Ryan E. Balilu, Kevin Nick S. Bandibas, Aprilyn R. Dañas, Crismalyn A. Golle, and Yhena P. Lazona.
For the veterinarian licensure examination held on August 26-28, 12 out of 34 VSU takers (35.29%) passed the board exam from among the 703 examinees nationwide of whom only 230 (32.72%) passed. The new VSU veterinarians are: Brina R. Bandoja, Domino A. Bayron, John Michael T. Caliwatan, Fritzie G. Colibao, Reggie N. Fumar, Marjorie A. Licatan, Rosedoll C. Lombrez, Bon A. Maurillo, Liezel P. Monido, Eric J. Salazar, Renante T. Tadea, and Constancia L. Villamar.
In the licensure exam for forester held on July 15-16, 10 out of 16 VSU examinees (62.50%) passed the exam. The national passing percentage is 37.73 percent (166 out of a total of 440 examinees). The new foresters are: John Patrick Cadiz, Rochelyn E. Dela Cerna, Condrado O. Goden Jr., Junar C. Lendio, Adam Christopher V. Maraya, Rusela G. Narca, Rolando C. Negrosa, Melanie G. Roble, Marla B. Sudaria, and Jolly Ann M. Versoza.
In the nursing board exam conducted on June 30 to July 1, 8 out of 15 VSU examinees (53.33%) passed the exam. A total of 60,895 nursing graduates nationwide took the exam of whom 27,823 (45.69%) passed. The new VSU nurses are: Mary Joy O. Aguelo, May Ann M. Amihan, Aivyl C. Balabat, Rocell B. Cahoy, John Carlo G. Ibale, Lyza Marie F. Mirador, Faith Dixie V. Nalangan, and Agnes Mae L. Raagas.
In the agriculturist licensure exam held on July 29, among the 3,518 examinees nationwide only 1,334 (37.92%) passed. VSU posted a 47.92 percent (69 out of 144) passing rate. The new agriculturists are: Vicente G. Aberlos, Melvin Z. Ablon, John Ric Acompañado, Ulyses Albarico, Myrna B. Albuera, Liwa Claire Alesna, Brenda B. Almeroda, Donna O. Aquino, Noel C. Cano, Anirose L. Casane, Gina Nedia Cerro, Cris Q. Cortaga, Khristine Marie Cruda, Cristina P. David, Gary M. De La Cruz, Rechiel M. De Paz, Ruby C. De Paz, Meriam R. Defensor, Jayson L.
