Three days before Christmas, the Visayas State University distributed on December 22, 2011 'Bundle of Joy' to some 500 part-time instructors and job order workers of the University at the Center for Continuing Education.
The 'Bundle of Joy' consisting of 16 kilos of rice, one box of ham and some grocery items were distributed by the staff of VSU's Office of the President together with Dr. Oscar B. Posas, VP for Academic Affairs, who delivered a Christmas message before the distribution of the "Bundle of Joy."
In his message on behalf of VSU President Jose L. Bacusmo (who was not feeling well during that day but made sure to catch up before the program ended), Dr. Posas pointed out that the University has apportioned certain amount to share its blessings to those who are part-time instructors and job order workers of the University. "Although the goodies you will receive could not equal the amount received by the casual and regular/permanent employees of the University, but somehow these would serve the purpose especially in this Holiday Season," Dr. Posas emphasized.
He also wished that year 2012 would be a prosperous and productive year for all VSU workers and employees.
