4 Viscans top October 2019 ChemTech board, VSU registers 100% passing anew

Freidrich Tafalla Bejar (90%), Jay-Ann Gonzales Belegorio (89%), Jayvee Acak Dela Torre (89%), and John Andre Bactol Lao (88.50%) ranked seventh, ninth, and tenth places, respectively, in the October 2019 Chemical Technician Licensure Examination.
VSU was declared as the top-performing school with 100% passing rate. This year, all 57 first-time takers successfully passed the exam.
In the December 2018 exam, the university also registered a 100% passing rate with two Viscans landing on the third and seventh places.
Milton Bianda Dela Rosa, Jr. of Adamson University is this year’s topnotcher, scoring 93.50%.
As per the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), 2,298 out of 2,843 Chemtech examinees made it to the cut, with a national passing percentage of 81.09%.
VSU also produced 10 new chemists in the October 2019 Chemist Licensure Exam. PRC released the results on October 14.
