VSU alumnus lands 5th spot in 2017 Envi Planner Exam

Linnito M. Pascual, an alumnus of the then Visayas State College of Agriculture (ViSCA), now Visayas State University (VSU), earned the 5th spot in the June 2017 Environmental Planner Licensure Examination.
He earned an average of 80.10%, as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on June 13, 2017.
Pascual, a graduate of BS in Agriculture major in Agricultural Economics, is a Senior Economic Development Specialist at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) – Region 10.
With an average of 82.30%, Justin Victor Dela Cruz of Ateneo De Manila University led 2017’s batch of passers as topnotcher.
Out of 1,739 takers, only 739 passed the examination as per PRC.
Environmental planners assist in minimizing the potential environmental impacts of housing, industrial, and transportation-related construction projects and help in identifying changes needed, according to EnvironmentalScience.org.
