VSU welcomes 300 new students for SY 2017-2018

Some 300 freshmen and transferees are joining a 5,000-strong VSU studentry this first semester School Year 2017-2018.
To formally welcome them to the university, the University Student Services Office (USSO) organized an orientation program graced by the different College Deans.
Dr. Beatriz Belonias, Vice President for Instruction, formally welcomed the new students to the “paradise” campus of VSU on behalf of VSU President Dr. Edgardo Tulin.
“Exert effort, work and study hard in order to finish on time. Make friends, have fun and enjoy. Welcome to the Paradise”, said Dr. Belonias.
Besides inspiring the students for the new school year, Dr. Belonias also encouraged students to avail of the services and programs organized for them.
The Orientation Program is an annual activity conducted in the beginning of the school year. This year, classes at VSU began on July 31.
