About the Position:
The agroforestry project assistant will be involved in developing a diversified, sustainable livelihood for farmers through agro-rainforestation. The position will be supervised by FARMCOOP Executive Director and CNC International Project Director. The positions primary duties and responsibilities are:
- Assist in agro-rainforest feasibility study, farm design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of project’s progress
- Facilitate inputs to farm plans and coordinate with agroforestry project head to integrate farm plan with current project
- Coordinate with concerned FARMCOOP personnel in matters regarding administrative and financial support
- Process documentation (document activities/outputs, conduct surveys, collect data, write monthly reports, etc.)
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the Executive Director and CNC International Project Director
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of B. S. Agriculture or Resource Management; major in Agroforestry, Agronomy or Agriculture Engineering
- At least 5 years work experience with 2 years experience in Farm or Resource Management, Permaculture, Organic agriculture or Agroforestry.
