Graduate School Student and Faculty Represent University 16th International Summer School in Hiroshima
This year’s program maintained its unique approach by inviting students and their academic supervisors, creating opportunities for future research collaborations. A highlight of the event was the International Symposium on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held on September 12, which brought together participants to discuss and align their work with global sustainability efforts.
Participants engaged in a diverse range of activities, including laboratory visits to explore advanced research facilities, a hands-on Science Program Work tailored to their fields of specialization, and collaborative sessions with Hiroshima University faculty and students. These experiences provided invaluable exposure to cutting-edge scientific practices and fostered interdisciplinary learning.
The event also included cultural immersion, with a historical tour of Hiroshima that allowed participants to deepen their understanding of the city’s heritage and resilience.
The Graduate School commends its students and faculty for representing the institution with distinction at this international event. Their participation underscores the university’s dedication to fostering global partnerships and providing its academic community with opportunities for excellence and cross-cultural collaboration.
